Is it Racism in OZ?
Asian students are being attacked by gangs in Australia regularly with many incidents being reported in Sydney and Melbourne, two prospering cities in Australia. Originally it was tagged as racist attacks since Australia is notorious for its White Policy. Slowly when the identity of the attackers were screened they were not local whites but immigrants of other countries and the reason for the attacks has been rivalry in the local part time job market. Most of the Asians who got attacked are students doing part time jobs in Australia to pay their college fees and maintain themselves. These students have grabbed the job opportunities of other immigrants who have been laid off and without an income have turned themselves up as hooligans. Their objective is to threaten and refrain the Asian immigrant student community from taking part time jobs in Australia. The only way this social problem can be solved is to find out the financial needs of this student community and the Government provides them with some sort of scholarship to complete their courses and return to their country after they graduate.
