Don't Encroach!
Forest land is shrinking day by day with increased commercial activities round the globe. In Brazil, tribals are fighting against the Government and private lumbering companies against destruction of their forests. In Kenya, the Masai Mara wildlife sanctuary is encroached by local tribesmen in search of pastures, leaving less ground for the wild animals to live. It is stunning to note that the giraffe population has gone down by 90% here due to shortage of pastures. In India, villages have cropped up on the migration routes of elephants and bisons in the reserved forests of Western ghats, that elephants entering villages in search of food and water is everyday news. All this is happening under the nose of Governments who are supposed to protect the land belonging to these natural inhabitants. Wild life lovers around the globe should give their voice for these endangered species telling everyone concerned "DON'T ENCROACH"!
