Dedicated Professions!
A Teacher and a Doctor are supposed to be dedicated professionals who have given their lifetime for the noble cause of teaching and treating humans. There had been stories of great teachers who had identified bright students and made them shine in later life as great leaders of masses. Similarly doctors like Louis Pasteur, Alexander Fleming dedicated their lifetime find cures for various diseases mankind was suffering from. But in today's commercialisation, these noble professions are losing their shine and are practised solely for money making objectives. One becomes a teacher or doctor not with the interest of upbringing future generations or treatment of patients but to live a comfortable life. Doctor parents do not ask their children whether they would like to treat patients and even if they do not wish to do so, make them learn medicine so that they can mange their hospitals in future. In such cases one cannot expect the dedication needed for this profession. A Teacher's job is also considered to be a less tiresome one though not as rewarding as a doctor's profession, for many to opt for. No wonder we are not able to produce those class of citizens our forefathers lived with!
