Bet You’ll Enjoy River Cruising!

I always wanted to take river cruising which I have heard is an enriching experience. I had only a week to spare and being fascinated by the Rhine since childwood I decided to opt for the Rhine Getaway offered by Viking River Cruises. I had to extend my vacation by a day since the Amsterdam to Basel cruise is an eight day trip. River cruising was an altogether different experience, very enjoyable with none of the twenty first century disturbances. No noise, no pollution, no hurry, no running around, no traffic jams – you feel how quite life was a century back. We touched Cologne, Koblenz, Rüdesheim, Heidelberg, Speyer, Strasbourg and Breisach before we reached Basel visiting museums, castles and other historical places in these towns. The food, stay and breathtaking natural view from the cruise were all just excellent. I have decided to take a couple of more such stress free vacations in future with Viking River Cruises!
